Because so much emphasis is placed on temperament and working ability, we offer only those stud dogs who themselves possess these qualities.  All of the  boys have worked successfully in the field, and have exceptional dispositions.  They are excellent representatives of the breed, and are producing what we  consider to be quality terriers, having the soundness of mind and body  required to do the job for which they have been bred. 

What you will see represented in the pedigrees of these stud dogs are some of the hallmarks of the breed;  the "tried and true" if you will have it.  While there might be a trend for some to rush to the "stud dog du jour", or the current trendsetter, we choose to remain with these old lines that have given us predictable results down through the generations.

Bitches coming in for breeding must be BAER normal and have been CERF clear  within a year of  breeding, and must have a negative Brucellosis performed within 30 days prior to breeding.

Additionally, because of the importance we place on working  ability, a $100 discount is offered to bitches who have earned their working certificates.
